3 apples
juice of 1 lemon
4 eggs
2 water glasses of sugar
3 water glasses of flour
1 water glass of fresh cream
1 packet of baking powder
butter or baking paper for the cocotte
icing sugar

These ingredients are able to feed:  6-8persons

Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices with a thickness of 1-2 cm. Sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent them from darkening. In a bowl, whip with a whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and thick, it must form a sort of ribbon when you lift the whisk. Stir in the flour, cream and baking powder. Mix everything very well with a whisk.

Buttering very well cocotte (diameter of about 22 cm to a side height of about 12 cm), or if you prefer cover it with parchment paper. Arrange the apple slices on the bottom of the cocotte and pour over the part of the mixture, make another layer of apples and cover with another little compound and so on for all the apples. Put the lid on the cocotte and put bake in preheated oven at 190° C for 1 hour. Let it cool without opening the lid. If you like serve it with a sprinkling of icing sugar (do not use vanilla to not cover the flavor of the apples).
